OUR PURPOSE

We are a missions-driven church that exists to make disciples for the Lord Jesus Christ. As we proclaim the Word of God, we will exalt Jesus, God’s Son, equip and encourage God’s People, experience God’s Presence and be God’s witnesses in the world.

OUR MISSION

The Solid Rock Baptist Church (SRBC) will strive to fully obey the commands and instructions of God the Father presented in His Holy Word, thereby becoming a congregation of Christ’s disciples “bearing much fruit that remains” in the Houston-Humble, Texas area – and elsewhere as the Holy Spirit leads us. The SRBC will surrender to the Lordship of Christ promoting health and wellness in spirit, soul, and body, thereby “Anchoring lives in Jesus Christ.”

“The Solid Rock Baptist Church will proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, promote his Lordship, and minister holistically in the lives of people in the Houston/Humble, Texas communities and beyond.”
